The BRIDE

Born on a cold January winter day in 1980.  My mother is Korean and my father is Chinese; I am a Korean Chinese born in Hong Kong.

My family immigrated to Canada when I was 17, after I had completed Form 5 and finish the HKCEE (I just pass the exams! Got 1 D and 8 E =p).  At that time I really don't wanna leave Hong Kong, as I gew up there and have lots of friends there.  I still miss my friends in Hong Kong.  Disregarding the polluted environment, rude people and over population, Hong Kong is a fasinated place to live.  I like to live in cities like Hong Kong and New York.

I met some really good friends at MT in Toronto and had some good times at Ryerson University.  I gradurated with Bacholer of Science - Computer Science degree.  Computer Science was the field I liked during High School, however, I ended up realizing that I don't really like to be in the field.  Now I am working at Ming Pao Daily Newspaper as a Graphics Designer, which is my dream job!  Finally I got the job I like, after through all the jobs like web developer, travel agents, prepress operator.

I am going to start a new chapter in my life, to start a new family.  I am looking forward to that day.  The day I marry Johnny and live happily ever after.

Born in Hong Kong in the late 1970s, also immigrated to Canada in the late 70s too. So.. I guess people will describe me as "bamboo star" or "banana". BUT... I am an exception. Many think that I came to Canada when I was in the "teens" (*** thinking.. 13... 18 .. was quite long ago!! ***)

Currently working at HomeServe Technologies Inc. (http://www.homeserve.ca)  as Senior Developer and President of Chinese Youth Peer Alliance (http://www.peeralliance.com).  Part time web developer, part time software developer, full time boyfriend, full time son and full time brother.

A fan of Hacken Lee and love to waste his time watching TVB series!  Agnes will always complain that I fall asleep when watching anything... I guess that's in my genes. Thanks mom!
