One day in March 2007, Agnes mentioned that she wanted to join her friend to a trip to Vancouver. She confirmed that the trip date being June 20-23, 2007. So Johnny started to plan an mission POSSIBLE! Ideas were flying around between the months of April and May. What could Johnny do to make it a special day for his wife to be? Hmmh... Of course the first thing he had to do was to find the right RING.
OK, the ring was found. (Johnny had to dig into a diamond mine to find the right one... it sure hurts... but it was worth it) Then in Johnny's mind was.. what to do.. when to do... and how to do... Was Johnny going to sing a song? was he going to kneal in a fancy restaurant? or was he going to put the ring into the wine and say.. oh.. look at what I found! DO YOU THINK JOHNNY HAS NO CREATIVITY? On June 20, 2007.. Johnny was very excited and worried... He hoped that everything would go smoothly and everything would be fine. Johnny also had a concern... what happens if Agnes says NO... would the trip be over?
Let's fast forward to Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver. We didn't take the rocket.. we took the seabus and bus to get there... and it was an expensive ride on the skyride. We managed to get to the top of the mountain.. roughly 1,250 m above sea level. Johnny looked at his watch and changed his plans... this seems to be a very very good place to ask her!
They both found a rock to and sat down.. Johnny took out a booklet from his backpack and gave it to Agnes. He told her to look at what he did. While Agnes was reviewing the booklet.. Johnny took out 3 gerbera flowers (they were not real) and a box...
The book showed photos of the journey.. the journey of Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec, Niagara Falls, Hong Kong... Other than that.. there was Clotilde holding a sheet saying "Will". Herself holding a sheet saying "You". Her sister Angela presenting "Marry" and of course Johnny pointing a finger at himself "Me". She was given the ring, the flowers and a black marker... a marker for her to sign the contract!
